I just purchased Animation-ish, and with the help of the onion skin capabilities, I was able to create my first animation.  You draw, show the image  in the next frame to trace and make adjustments, make your changes and it animates.  Easy to understand, easy to use.  Lots of curriculum ideas etc.

Even young students could create flipbooks and animations with this program - amazing for teaching animation to anyone, young and old
