I'm going to use this clip for my "getting ready for college" study skills curriculum I'm working on - the predatory practices companies have for college students are frightening!!!!!

Examining this kind of nonsense and skullduggery is the cornerstone of my practice. While I'm quite good at incorporating new stuff in my teaching, adding a media component that is this current will be especially great. Jon Stewart is great because teenagers like and trust him (I think because he's kinda still a teenager himself). I love that fact that he continues to be shocked and horrified by the goings on of the draconian right. It's funny cause it's true. Oh - I tried to download that super duper movie study guide/media circles, but was unable to do so. I plan on using it very, very soon.

What was the hitch with the download? You usually just have to "save as" when the PDF opens in your browser window and it converts to a PDF on your desktop.
