Crafting a Picture Book with Photos

Australian author, Tania McCartney shares a technique based on her own picture book series on my blog this week. She also uses it in writing workshops with kids. Basically it's superimposing kids' own art onto black and white scenery shots. I love it because it's so achievable, looks good, and engages kids in an authentic writing activity.
