Meet The Author, produced by the Fairfax Network, is a series which promotes literacy and an interest in reading by giving students direct access to authors who share their personal stories and their writing tips while encouraging students to keep reading, writing and dreaming. The series is delivered by satellite: it is free---interested schools should work with their PBS stations and/or cable operators to receive the transmission.
