QUESTION: Comic Book Adaptations of Literature

I am an elementary school art teacher.  My fifth grade students are currently reading The Lightning Thief.  There is a comic book adaptation of the book I was thinking of discussing with my students.

I was wondering if any of you have tackled discussing adaptation of this or any other YA book at this grade level.

I am looking for any ideas or resources, so please chime in if you have things for middle and high school that could be adapted to 5th grade.  Also, if you have similar resources dealing with movie adaptations of literature.
