Skoolbo - new educational game

Saw an RT from Ryan Goble ( @_mindblue_ ) on Twitter and went to investigate. RT led to Edudemic article, Skoolbo: The World’s Largest Educational Game You Don’t Use (Yet).

So I took a look at Skoolbo. It certainly sounds fun and motivating for elementary/primary kids. The educational goals are to increase Core Skills in literacy and numeracy. It's a free download, available for Mac or PC. There are also e-books available for iOS or Android. According to iTunes, one ebook is free each fortnight and if you like it, you buy it. There is mention of premium content for those who want it at Skoolbo. 

Skoolbo is from the people who created Mathletics and World Math Day. It might be worth a look.
