Have you discovered Wonderopolis? Great website - "where the wonders of learning never cease."

Wonderopolis really encourages kids to learn with visuals and text. With the Wonderopolis Wonderizer, kids are presented with a daily image and encouraged to customise that image by adding vocabulary words, text, videos, photos, more images etc. The customisations lead them to explore a subject further, and delve into different formats. I love the idea of encouraging kids to wonder - to speculate about what might be, or what might cause something.
