He has taken modern-day photos of famous sites in Russia that also have important history from WWII and weaved them together in a fascinating way. (Even though much of the site is in Russian, there are some English comments and descriptions that can help us orient ourselves to each location.) I think this site would be a tremendous discussion starter in a history class, but it could also inspire an entire unit in an art class or even an interdisciplinary unit. Very impressive!
