Making Curriculum Pop

This very cool op-chart was published in the December 27, 2009 New York Times.

I could see students using this as a model for the last ten years in their life, their school's history, or as a series of "learning" logs about the things and people they learned from in a Math class....very versatile model for a wide range of visual assignments....

Awesome - glad you'll find it useful. If you're talking about the language of icons you might also want to check these other, older posts....

Ryan:)
this is awesome. Anyone can implement this into a lesson.

I love how it is easy to read for young adults. It puts everything in the last decade into a relevant and informative list, which can then be used by numerous teachers during lessons. I wish we could use a chart like this in one of my education class here at AU. The session can concentrate the noun and verb lines, or any of the lines actually. All the information on this chart is useful to education classes here at AU.
Justin, thanks for writing - maybe we'll have to do one of these in our classes - good idea - remind me! Great ideas for this as a model!!
