BOOK: Series Reveals Director's Techniques

I just picked up this new small paperback book (Shoot Like Spielberg). I think the title might appeal not just to budding filmmakers (which I am not) but also to many of us who teach film want to help our students better understand how directors approached a particular film using specific cinematic techniques, which are illustrated nicely by film stills.

There are three books in this series: the other two cover Scorsese and Tarantino. Here is a review.
