NEWS ARTICLE: Students discover Hollywood applications for science learning

Students in this California district's gifted-education program learned how science can relate to art and animation from a biology professor who is a frequent anatomical consultant in Hollywood. "I thought that you just drew pictures, but I didn't know that you needed any science and math to do it," one sixth-grader said. The event was part of a series of summer enrichment activities planned by parents and school-district officials.
