QUESTION: Experiences teaching gender and race through "Good Hair," the Chris Rock film?

I'm looking for ideas on how to lesson plan for a course in expository writing - college freshmen - using Chris Rock's film "Good Hair." The film is loaded with issues of gender and race and seems ripe for discussion in a comp course. Any experience?
