Making Curriculum Pop

Currently, I am taking a grad class that exposed me to incorporating documentary films into my language arts curriculum.

I would like to use documentaries to help my students with their persuasive writing unit.

Does anyone have any ideas or thoughts that would help to get me started?  Are there any documentaries that embody the concepts of persuasion?

I'm also in a college course (although I'm undergrad, I'm in the class with grad students) that has led me to incorporate documentary and nonfiction cinema in my E/LA curriculum.

I was planning on using the two different versions of Grey Gardens in some way--perhaps not to teach persuasion, but to show bias, as the non-fiction cinematized version with Drew Barrymore is much more sympathetic than the 1970s documentary version.
