I'm working on a course with my students(Seniors) that examines the less pretty side of America. We will be reading excerpts from Nickle and Dimed - a nonfiction text where the author spends a year in different minimum wage jobs to see if a person can survive earning minimum wage.
Any films that would be a useful/appropriate companion?
All suggestions are appreciated.

Morgan Spurlock (of SuperSize me fame) had an excellent series on TV called "30 days". His first episode deals with how hard it is to live on unemployment benefit, with no other sources of income. I have used it in the past, and it's a great resource.
