Making Curriculum Pop

I teach a Film as Literature class second semester.  I would like to spend more time analyzing clips before giving them full films in the adaptation unit.  Does anyone have any clips they would recommend that pair with a piece of literature?  I want them to consider how filmmakers translate written into visual -- expressing character, tone, etc.  Thanks!

This website http://movieclips.com  might provide you with a starting point. Since I use clips from "To Kill A Mockingbird" in my "film literacy" workshops, I was pleased to see a number of useful clips from the film included on this site.
