The release of a new print of Citizen Kane is renewing an old debate: should the proliic director, writer, star get the sole screenwriting credit? The debate is rehashed in this op-ed printed in the UK's Independent.

Frank, of course not - Welles did some incredible edits but Mankiewicz early drafts can't be ignored!
