Making Curriculum Pop

Melena Ryzik visits Skywalker Sound, in this NYT video feature, and learns how sound designers make movies come to life. The interviewed sound designers are not actually seen working on films, but rather appear on-camera talking about films they've worked on. For that reason, I actually like this clip better:  it's from the Los Angeles Times occasional series "Working Hollywood," and features Gary Hecker, inside the foley studio, demonstrating how he does his job--and includes his work on both The Twilight series as well as "The Hunger Games."
