I peeked! I'm sorry; my brain wasn't in thinking mode, so I couldn't come up w/ my own list easily. I disagree w/ the recent Where the Wild Things Are film. That really wasn't so much a representation of the book as an imaginative (and slightly disturbing) extrapolation on the original story. I would also add the very memorable Hobbit cartoon from the 70's! Love that one!
