Chris,
This could be fun. I just finished my YA course which is an intensive one in the summer, but I decided to do it differently ...2 full days in one week, then 2 Fridays and then the last 2 days in one week. The in between reading time turned out well and students were less stressed. I originally taught the course for Benedictine U, but now teach it for Aurora U. I also teach the middle school courses and differentiation...and humanities...and assessment, action research, best practices etc...I really love to work with teachers.
