Hello Danielle,
I'm a TEFL teacher to teenagers and adults in Spain who's also new to this site. I'm going to try to get time to look into what you're talking about. It sounds like your students each have their computer to be online in the classroom which is not my case but I want to take advantage of new technology. Perhaps you share my feeling of being far away from the blogging, buzzing, tweeting world being in Australia.
I want more time to see messages and stuff but I'm really busy.
Hope to be able to keep in touch with you.

Great to have you here! You might want to join the new New Modern Languages & ELL group - a good time will be had by all there (see the awful image I ended up using).
At the top of the group there should be an little + sign similar to the one in the Middle School group (image below) that says "+Join Middle School Group." Easy stuff.

Also there is a lot of chat around non-English film in the Foreign Films for the Classroom group and many useful and high interest texts are discussed in the Graphic Novels group.

Good Vibes,
