Hi Jill - just FYI - if you post your ? in the MATH DISCUSSION FORUM instead of sending a message to the group your question will be broadcast to the entire Ning - see Post A Crowdsource Question

Jill - you don't want to send a message to the whole group you want to post in the discussion forum - you would "+ Discussion" here - that way it has a url I can broadcast or a crowdsource Tuesday. Does that make sense?

Oh no prob - that same teacher wrote this excellent essay...

Chicken kill: A guest post by Jen Boylan Sessa I also saw that you sent a question to the middle school group about cooking math. Consider posting the same question in the math educators group DISCUSSION FORUM- you'll get a lot of feedback if you post that way - see http://mcpopmb.ning.com/page/post-a-crowdsource

Howdy Jill!

Great to have you here!  Do consider joining the P.E., Health & Wellness Education group!

You might also enjoy this blog "Eating Our Way Through School: Using food in the Gastronomy, English or Social Studies classroom" a fav. for teachers who work with food.

At the top of the group there should be an little + sign similar to the one in the Middle School group (image below) that says "+Join Middle School Group." Easy stuff.

Good Vibes,

Ryan:)
