Good day,
I picked interest in you after going through your short profile and demanding it is necessary for me to write to you immediately. I have something very important to discuss with you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on (kristinageorgieva480@gmail.com) for full details.
Best regards,
Kristalina Georgieva.

Katie thank you!!!! So here is my plan thus far. Rather than starting mythology I think I'm going to start reading some shorter comics that utilize specific greek mythology figures (Hercules) maybe even go into Norse mythology and use Thor. Then I'll go further indepth with greek mythology and look to american mythology (american west) and contemplating why we have mythology and what purpose does it serve. Then I'm debating on whether I should start with Superman or Wonder Woman (Iook at gender, society how she changed over time etc.) I will wrap up with Batman considering he is 100% human (vigilante) and then move onto looking at the shift between comics like you suggested. I found some great images and comics to illustrate post 9/11.

Thank you again for your suggestions, great ideas.

Hey Katie, Ryan sent me your info. because he thought you'd be an awesome resource for me.

I'm currently working on developing a semester course that uses Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman to study American mythology, pop culture and sociology.

I was planning to use Greek mythology as a jumping off point to introduce concept and purpose of mythology and then move into the Comic Wonder Women: Who is wonder women. While reading we will study terms for graphic lit, how to read a comic as well as looking into the context in which WW was created and the social context.

This is where I'm at right now. But I am open to ideas and suggestions for Batman: Dark Night Returns and Superman: Death of Superman or Wonder Women and how to address the course topics. (sorry if I'm rambling).

I am the only English teacher in my program thus I am very receptive to discussing ideas with others and Ryan considered you an expert.

all the best
and congrats on the book --it looks awesome!
