i went to the website and it was really cool to look around and explore all of the different options that you have when looking at maps from the current era and the past. This could be a very useful tool in the classroom to help students relate what they are learning about in history to modern times
Yeah there are a lot of great interactive ways to use maps - some people have done AMAZING projects with Google Earth - see this post as well.
