I thought I posted this yesterday, but I'll try again:
SANE journal: sequential art narrative in education has published its first issue, "Comics in the Contact Zone." The journal is online, free, open-access and offers articles, reviews, rationales and more resources regarding teaching comics at any level of education, with a focus on literacy.
Visit the journal at http://www.sanejournal.net
As well, we're still taking submission for the second issue, themed "Teaching the Works of Alan Moore."

You did post yesterday, but there's been a lot of activity on the discussion board and it is quite a way down the list by now. I checked out the contents, and it looks great! Well done, Bucky!
Thanks! And if you know of anyone wanting to do a rationale or review of any of Moore's works, let me know, eh?
This looks to be a great resource for teaching with comics. I can't wait to check it all out. My first one will be your article on Contact Zone learned through X-Men!
I'd love to contribute to this journal! I'll reread my Alan Moore materials when I'm finished with my feminist essay for the Journal of Graphic Novels and Comics. Is there a deadline for submissions?
Sean:The deadline has been extended and is now sort of "rolling." Contact me when you're ready to submit and I'll let you know where we are in the process.
