Need help with my master's project: your experiences using popular culture in the English classroom

Much like many of you here, I am a life-long devotee of popular culture. Hey Brian, I too would agree with your Murakami and OK Computer choices - did you see the OK Computer re-issue/delux edition out there - unreal. Re Zeppelin - I must say I'm more of a Houses of the Holy kind of guy.
