What 5 essential pop culture artifacts (CDs, DVDs, Books, Images, Toys, etc.) would you have on your desert island?: 1 - Twinkies - They last forever. 2 - iPod - Even without wi-fi I can still rock out...if I can figure out how to charge it. 3 - Journal - So, I'll be able sell my story if I make it off alive. 4 - Stuffed Platypus - Everyone needs a snuggle buddy. 5 - Beef Jerky - I can't survive on Twinkies alone.

Do consider joining some of the social science/studies groups:
World History
US History
Econ, Gov and Biz
Religious Studies
Psychology/Sociology/Anthropology
and
Identity: Gender, Race, Sexuality & Other Tricky Stuff

Social science people also really enjoy the Media Education and Teach with Moving Images groups.

At the top of the group there should be an little + sign similar to the one in the Middle School group (image below) that says "+Join Middle School Group." Easy stuff.
