Making Curriculum Pop

A film professor has some excellent suggestions in this essay from the March/April 2011 issue of NEA TODAY magazine. In a sidebar, she makes recommendations on using Hitchcock's "Rear Window."  My only complaint here is that she makes no references to film in the teaching standards--but she is a university professor, and this essay is excerpted from an apparently longer article in NEA's higher ed publication.

This is great, Frank. I sent it on to the rest of the faculty to show how they can use clips in their own content.
