HELP NEW TEACHERS? December 9 @ Aurora University 7-9PM!
Hello Chicago people!
I'm writing to invite you to an evening of free food, per-service teachers and fun.
On December 9th my undergrad pre-service teachers are presenting their unit portfolios at Aurora University to an audience of "professional educators." This is the first invite I'm sending out for the event but if some of you were interested in chatting with "teachers in training" about their curriculum, it would mean a lot to the students and be tremendously helpful to me.
These students are in a "Reading Across The Curriculum" Class. They've all created units in their discipline that use multi-modal literacy strategies to make their content more engaging for students.
If you or one of your colleagues is willing or able to donate some of your evening to hang with future teachers we'd be excited to meet with you that evening!

Wisdom - that would be really great - I will bug you as we get closer - I'm already getting worried that it was going to be me AND Nicole - but if I have an aura and it is attracting you and Becky I'm gonna roll with that!
