Some people are not interested in receiving broadcast e-mails, and
sadly some folks join our community and find they are not down with
MC POP - either way, we're sad to see you go.
You need to know that
I (Ryan) don't have any control over your
profile, setting or status here on MC POP!
When you join Ning it is like joining Facebook. As a Ning member I
can join a gazillion sub Nings - for example I'm a member of
Classroom
2.0,
English Companion Ning and
Comics
International. If I want to leave one or all of those groups I
have to go to my Ning main page or I have to manage my membership
within the specific Ning network I'm working with.
First, if you still want to have access to MC POP but don't want
broadcast e-mails, I believe you can
Control which emails you receive on a Ning
Network or
Control your email settings and messages.
If you want to leave this Ning altogether you need to visit -
http://www.ning.com/. From there
you should be able to log into your account.
At your Ning login page there is a help icon at the bottom of the
page. I did some surfing there and and found these two links that
might be helpful.
Manage Ning Networks you have joined or
created
and
How do I deactivate my Ning account?
From Ning...
If you ever decide you don't want to use any of the social
networks on Ning anymore, we can disable your account for you. For
security reasons, we are not able to delete any of the content that
you have added to the social networks you belong to. You will need
to delete your own content. You can do this by leaving each social network you belong to.
Repeat this process for all social networks you are a member of.
After you have deleted yourself from all your social networks, sign
in to Ning.com
and click Settings in the top right corner of the page. From here,
select the "Deactivate" tab and click the link to the Help Center
to submit your deactivation request.
We're sad to see people leave the MC POP community but I certainly
hope you had a nice time while you were here!
Stay Groovy and "teach the children well!"
