Are fashion and video game characters a good fit?

The April issue of men's magazine Arena Homme+ features five main characters from the videogame Final Fantasy XIII-2 wearing shirts, slacks and scarves from Prada's 2012 spring/summer men's collection. According to this article, it isn't the first time fashion and videogames have collided, but it might be one of the most high profile collaboration with active involvement from both parties.
