High Hopes and Great Dreams

School is about two weeks away. I’m having dreams about it already.

 

And no, these are not the typical teacher’s nightmare: standing naked in front of the class while the students pay no attention and completely disregard any suggestions to be quiet.

 

The dreams I am having now are about possibilities. I will have two journalism classes this year, one each semester.  That means I can have a continuation of student writing throughout the school year.  This past year there was only one section of journalism. The students’ work got progressively....
