BOOKS/MOVIE: Anthony & Cleopatra + Brangelina

For those of you who might teach this Shakespeare play...

I came across a blurb in Vanity Fair about Pulitzer Prize winning author Stacy Schiff's (Benjamin Franklin) new Cleopatra biography.  It sounds quite interesting but it also sounds like this book has been optioned by the famous producer Scott Rudin with Brangelina (or at least Jolie) singed on to re-explore the material made famous by Burton & Taylor.

When I was searching for info on Schiff's book I also came across an interesting new book about "Antony And Cleopatra" by Adrian Goldsworthy. The author/historian was interviewed on NPR where they've also posted an excerpt from his book.
