Teen Entrepreneur Boot Camp
Teen Entrepreneur Boot Camp is a non-profit “business boot camp” that gives teens a rare opportunity to be entrepreneurs and actually launch a temporary small business within two weeks. This real-life hands-on business approach requires the students to be focused, resourceful, and creative due to the compressed time frame. Along the way, this engaging, innovative platform introduces local teens to the world of business and some of the related fields, such as legal, financial literacy, and marketing.

The co-founders of this non-profit program, Pam & JC Chmiel, own the popular coffee bar Klatch in Lower Manhattan, as well as Klatch @ Pier I in Riverside Park. Pam runs the day-to-day operations at Klatch, and she is responsible for overseeing TEBC’s program activities including the scheduling and coordinating of all sessions. JC is TEBC’s Treasurer, managing the organization’s financial record-keeping and annual budget. His past experience is in the development and production of television shows aimed at youths and teens, including programs for Disney Channel, Fox Family, Discovery, and ESPN2
