INTERVIEW /ANTHOLOGY: Immigrant Voices: 21st Century Stories

Caught this fascinating interview on Chicago Public Radio yesterday about the new anthology Immigrant Voices: 21st Century Stories published by the Great Books Foundation. The editors are fascinating as they explain how the themes of the immigrant story are shifting dramatically in the 21st Century.

Junot Díaz, Edwidge Danticat and Yiyun Li are just a few of the authors featured in a new anthology entitled 'Immigrant Voices'. The anthology is a set of 18 stories from different U.S. immigrants and looks at their diverse experiences as U.S. immigrants. Editors Megan Bayles and Achy Obejas join us in studio to discuss the new work. Both editors will be at the Women & Children First Bookstore tonight at 7:30 p.m.
