Access Denied

Started PD back at school last week and discovered that this website is blocked by my district's filter. Anyone have any suggestions.

Comment by dvorreyer on August 22, 2009 at 4:08pm: I agree with Ryan - usually if you show the IT people the site and explain why it is useful, they will unblock it for you. We had that happen with lots of things that we didn't expect to be blocked, and we've been able to get around it.

Comment by Ryan Goble on August 16, 2009 at 12:29pm: You know sometimes districts block ALL social networking sites so all Ning, MySpace and Facebook accounts are often blocked. In that case, you need to call your district IT person, tell them the domain name and explain why you think you should be able to use the network and usually they can unblock it.
