Ryan,

I bit of explanation may be in order. I am retired from classroom teaching some five years now. During that time I have been building a website for use by teachers and students: http://www.educationalsynthesis.org/indexnew.html ....

I started out fixing up and uploaded resources I had used myself. Then I got into doing resources that I thought would be useful. This and that were added including a set of pages of Famous Americans and some stories/books which are personalized to the reader to encourage better attention and comprehension.

But, the website has grown almost to the point where iI can barely maintain it. I need the help of active, creative and effective teachers . I am hopeful that your site will become a "Happy Hunting Ground".

Howdy Anne!

Great to have you here!

Since you rock English consider joining some ELA groups:
Popular Music
Teach with the Moving Image
World Literature
American Literature
British Lit (sans Shakespeare)
Making Shakespeare Pop
Poets and Writers
Adolescent Literature
Graphic Novels
New Modern Languages & ELL
Digital Storytelling
New Media & Technology
Media Education/Literacy group
The News: Teaching With and About
Magazines
and the new Making Drama POP! group

At the top of the group there is a little + sign similar this one in the Middle School group that says "+Join Group X." Easy stuff.

Good Vibes,

Ryan:)
