Thank you for your note. I do hope your students enjoy MakeBeliefsComix.com and that they create some wonderful stories with it. In another 10 days or so (fingers crossed for the programmers), we will be adding many additional characters, scenes and objects to make the comic-strip-making process even more fun and creative. So please watch for the changes. I'd love to hear your students feedback and even to see some of their work if that is possible.
Bill - How are you? Have you been keeping up with stuff? Some UofM students did a webinar on makebeliefscomix.com - Jeff said they will be sharing the archives when all the webinars are complete.
Hi Bill, I just checked out your site. MakeBeliefsComix.com and I am SO excited to use with my students next week. What a wonderful site! I do a comic book unit with my students to help them understand sequencing, and the various ways to visually transition between their ideas. I use the program Comic Life which is also great, but I like that your program has built in characters with emotion. I think this will allow for my students will be able to spend more time on their story ideas rather then painstakingly designing each character in a drawing program. Really gets to the heart of it. Thank You!
