I'm sure by now most of you have seen the excellent trailer for the film Anonymous (receiving 4 thumbs-up for the brilliant use of Radiohead music)?
Certainly, everyone must be excited about seeing the film. Fortunately Columbia English professor James Shapiro - author of Contested Will: Who Wrote Shakespeare? - gives folks some pre- or post-viewing food for thought in this NYT Op-Ed. He also mentions, and heavily criticizes a study guide produced by Sony. Notably, I can not find this study guide at the official site for the film.
