I have had great success with using the BBC Animated Tales of MacBeth (On Youtube) as well as the cliff notes video on Youtube.com. I teach this in 7th grade. We use a picture book version, watch the BBC version and then read the side by side translation. The culminating activity is a 50 minute student improve of the story in their own words, complete with props.
