Has any one used video clips of students to give feed back on their work or to use it as a tool for self assessment?

I really liked the Literacy Lava magazine. Great ideas for the primary ages. I especially liked the spelling article. I will utilize some of the games and the shared web sites. Thanks!!!

Susan, if you post something above - in the forum it is:
1. indexed
2. has a dedcated url
3. has a space for comments.

That way when you post a cool blog or comment it can be highlighted in a week in review broadcast as it has a hyperlink.

As you can see below - comments are certainly cool - but they get buried quickly.

Discussion forum posts are nicely archived above - when you click on "view all." Obviously, some things work as wall comments but if you post an excerpt of your blog, a link to it an a resource that content might be better served in the discussion forum above - does that make sense?

Ryan, do you mean this: that it is a good idea to not only post a comment on the wall of a group, but also go to Start Discussion for the same group and post there in the forum?

Susan, also consider CROSS POSTING your blog in the discussion forums above - you can do like I did with this blog post...

I LOVE LOVE LOVE more voices in the mix here - always feel free to cross post in the related discussion forums like I did for Stergious - you can always post your own in the discussion forum !!!

Zimmer Twins is a nice site where kids can create a movie and practise their literacy skills at the same time. I described it on my blog.
