Thank you so much for the ideas and the sample projects. It really forces students to think critically about the Civil Rights movement as well as allowing them some creative room to roam through music. I really appreciate the input

Regarding your copyright question...I am not an attorney, but have always considered my activities and those of my students to fall under the doctrine of "fair use".
The purely academic intent/purpose of this assignment must surely be evident to the holder of copyright. The projects are not created for commercial purposes, they are not for sale, no fee is charged for viewing them, they are posted on a noncommercial web site with no opportunity to Embed them, and the "value" of the copyrighted works has not been diminished in any way.
Found this reference to 'fair use" at the U.S. Copyright Office web site..."Section 107 contains a list of the various purposes for which the reproduction of a particular work may be considered fair, such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research."

Hey man, so I was looking at M.U.S.I.C and looking for a link that showcases all the cool music stuff you do/did related to health classes - is a link for that or do I just nee d to pull separate links - I have a health teacher who is in desperately in need of ideas.
Any cool examples/ideas/lessons would be appreciated.
